HR Transmitter is a simple Wear OS app that transmits heart rate data from your smartwatch’s sensor to other devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Data Collection and Usage
What we collect:
- Heart rate measurements from your watch’s sensor
- Bluetooth connection status
What we DO NOT collect:
- Personal information
- Location data
- Account information
- Usage statistics
- Any other health data
How we use the data:
- Heart rate data is only used for real-time transmission via BLE
- Data is never stored on the device
- Data is never transmitted to any servers
- Data is only shared with devices you explicitly connect to via Bluetooth
Data Storage
- No data is stored permanently
- Heart rate values are only held temporarily in memory during transmission
- All data is cleared when the app is closed
Third-Party Access
- No data is shared with third parties
- No analytics services are used
- No advertising services are used
- No user tracking is implemented
Permissions
The app requires the following permissions:
- BLUETOOTH: Required for BLE transmission
- BLUETOOTH_ADVERTISE: Required to make the device visible to others
- BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: Required to establish connections
- BODY_SENSORS: Required to access heart rate data
- WAKE_LOCK: Required to keep the service running
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to run in the background
